HOW IT ALL STARTED

Back in the early 1980's, Edmond Morin (Ned) had a love for power equipment and wanted to open a power equipment store named after his only son, Robert Patrick.  Ned went to the Town to have the property, that was owned by his mother, changed from Residential to Commercial.  The family home remains on the property to this date.  Not long after having the zone changed and creating the logo for the store he dreamed of, Ned realized how much he disliked the New England weather and packed up and moved to sunny Florida.

In 1992, Robert met his wife, Alaine, and discussed his plans and desires to open the store that his father had always dreamed of.  Therefore we set into motion the necessary steps to get started.  After many site plans and board meetings, in 1995, five days before Robert and Alaine were to be wed, the Town of Prospect granted them permission to open a power equipment store, RPM Power Equipment, Inc.  Thus the construction began and by God's grace the business was built and the doors were opened on June 1, 1996.

Since opening our doors on June 1, 1996 the Lord has blessed us beyond what we ever dreamed.  Robert and Alaine work side by side at the store and occassionly  you with get a glimpse of their daughter, Ashley.  The store has since been remodeled and the Lord continues to bless.
